Learn how to make Upvas special Maharashtrian style quick Batatyacha Rassa (Potato Curry) recipe from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />3 Potatoes, chopped <br />1/2 Cup Coconut <br />4 Green Chillies <br />1/2 inch Ginger <br />2 Cups Water <br />3 tbsp Curd <br />1/2 Cup Peanuts, soaked <br />1 & 1/2 tbsp Oil <br />1 tsp Cumin Seeds <br />Rock Salt <br />Coriander leaves <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- First in a mixer grinder add grated fresh coconut, green chillies and ginger. Add little water and grind everything to a paste. Keep this masala paste aside. <br />- In a pan heat some oil. <br />- Add cumin seeds, chopped potatoes & peanuts. Mix everything. <br />- Add the masala paste & rock salt. Mix well. <br />- Add water and cover it with a lid. Let the potatoes cook properly. <br />- Then add the curd and coriander leaves. Mix well. <br />- Again cover it with a lid and let the bhaji simmer for 2 minutes. <br />- Upvas Batata Rassa is ready to be served.
